Women in Mission
St. Andrew's Women in Mission (WIM) meets at the church on the 1st Tuesday of each month September through May (call the church office for details and dates 609-344-7333). In June, we will have a Summer Break luncheon at a location to be determined.
We are a member of the Women of the North American Lutheran Church (WNALC) since 2011.
Fundraising Events
Activities during the year include fundraising events. Our soup sales in the winter are a favorite. In December we bake and sell Christmas cookies. Not only is it a fun time for all but it provides special cookies during the holidays.
At Christmas we have a potluck luncheon. We decorate the Fellowship Hall Christmas tree. In lieu of a Pollyanna, we each give $10 which is donated to our Food Pantry. It is a great time and the food is fantastic!
It is becoming a tradition for us to go out to lunch during Restaurant Week in Atlantic City. We have eaten at Carmine's at the Tropicana, The Cellar in Brigantine and in 2019 at Harry's Oyster Bar. We had a wonderful time and so much to eat! Definitely, we will be doing this every year!
While we are small, we are a very friendly group.
